Orchestration of Containerized Application in Cloud:

Cloud computing has emerged as a new operational model for hosting and delivering services over the Internet. Cloud computing promises to provide computing resources instantly, whenever they are needed. Supporting the on-demand provisioning of resources, requires elastic resource allocation to minimize provisioning costs while meeting service level objectives (SLOs). Elastic resource allocation allows for optimal provisioning, which yields cost reduction for a service provider.

The advent of container-based application deployment emrged to faciliate the rapid scaling of an application. However, it raises the challenege of orchestration to manage and coordinate multiple containers across a distributed cluster of nodes while assuring continuity of coordinated service during the operation.
