Martedì 3 Giugno 2014 alle ore 12:15 in aula 1BC50 Lorenzo Zanelli (Università di Padova) terrà un seminario dal titolo "On the localization of the semiclassical Wave Front Set for Schrodinger eigenfunctions on the flat torus".

Abstract
As it is well known, the semiclassical Wave Front Set provides a measure of semiclassical regularity of a function depending on the Planck's constant. This notion has been introduced by Guillemin and Sternberg, and it can be interpreted as the semiclassical analog of the Wave Front Set of a distribution introduced by Hormander. The aim of this talk is to study the localization of the semiclassical Wave Front Set for eigenfunctions of Schrodinger type operators defined on the flat torus. In particular, we provide a characterization of those eigenfunctions such that the semiclassical Wave Front Set is contained in the graph of the gradient of some viscosity solutions of the Hamilton-Jacobi equation.
