Symposium in Leuven (Belgium), dedicated to the memory of Joost van Hamel

On Saturday June 28 a symposium will take place in Leuven (Belgium), dedicated to the memory of Joost van Hamel, who died on January 12, 2008.

Some mathematical colleagues and friends will give a talk, namely Frédéric Bihan (Université de Savoie, France), Mikhail Borovoi (Tel Aviv University, Israel), Philippe Gille (Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris, France) and Claus Scheiderer (Universität Konstanz, Germany).
The organiser is Jan Denef (K.U.Leuven).
