The Conference "New Trends in Analysis and Control of Nonlinear PDEs" will take place at "Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica" (INDAM), Piazzale Aldo Moro, 2, Roma (Italy), since June 13 through June 15, 2011.
The INDAM Institute is on the first floor of the Mathematics Department "G. Castelnuovo" of "Università La Sapienza" (for information on the Institute you may visit the website http://www.altamatematica.it ).
Control theory and partial differential equations are very active research areas with several domains of interaction. This workshop will gather a selected number of world leading experts to offer an up-to-date account of the main recent advances in this and related fields.
A wide range of topics will be covered including: Carleman estimates, the return method, degenerate diffusions, fluid models, discretization methods, quantum control, shape optimization, inverse problems, optimal control, dynamic programming, fine properties of functions, currents, and stochastic control.
