Other interests:

• I produced and regularly update a free MS-DOS software package named «ARTI2000», whose features are full accessibility for visually impaired computer users, high effectiveness and easiness in use.
  I also assembled a package for the access to Internet services, working in the MS-DOS environment, which is still largely used by several blind people.

• TeX and visually impaired people: some notes on access to mathematics by means of TeX (in Italian).
• Throughout the nineties, in the cooperation framework established between my Department and the IROE-CNR institute in Firenze, I carried on an experimentation about man-machine interaction methods based on synthetic speech, with particular attention to applications devoted to the access to communication networks.
