"Harmonic functions in a domain with a small hole"

The asymptotic behaviour of the solutions of boundary value problems in domains with small holes has been largely investigated by many authors with different approaches. In this seminar, after an introductory part, we consider a Dirichlet problem for the Laplace operator in a bounded domain of R^n with a small set removed, and see what happens to the solution when the hole collapses to a point (more details in the attached pdf file). Based on joint work with M. Dalla Riva, Universidade de Aveiro.
