The School of Mathematics is seeking outstanding candidates for a Chancellor's Fellowship in Mathematical Analysis. This Fellowship provides a research-focused reduced-teaching position for up to 5 years which converts to a standard open-ended position at the end of this period.

We are seeking to appoint exceptional early-career mathematician who has already shown the ability to conduct world-leading research and exhibited clear potential to become an international leader in Mathematical Analysis.

Applicants should have research interests in any area of Mathematical Analysis, broadly interpreted, which complements our current interests in Harmonic Analysis and Partial Differential Equations. We particularly welcome candidates whose interests may also reach out to other areas of Mathematics.

Appointment will normally be made on the Lecturer scale, £37,012 - £44,166. Dependent on experience, and in exceptional circumstances, appointment may be to Senior Lecturer/Reader level for which the salary scale is £46,846 - £52,706.
