Short Bio

Hello to You. Since Nov. 2019 I am an Assistant Professor (tenure track) at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Bologna, while retaining a temporary contract professorship possition at the University of Padua, Department of Mathematics. My broad research interests are focused but not limited to ad-hoc networks, p2p networking, delay tolerant networks.

In specifics, the research activities I am currently involved in are:

• Wireless Networks and Applications: design and analysis of a lighweight solution addressing flow coexistence problem at the transport layer [1,2 ...].
• Mobile Ad hoc Networks: data gathering and dissemination techniques in mobile environments [1,2,3 ...].
• 5G: Network Function Virtualization, Software Defined Networking [1].
