CHESS environment base platform

The base platform for the CHESS environment is as follows:

Eclipse Indigo Service Release 1 (Eclipse 3.7.1)
MDT-Papyrus 0.8.1
Java SE 1.6

Please do not update Eclipse and Papyrus to the Service Release 2 (3.7.2 and 0.8.2, respectively).

How to install MDT-Papyrus and the CHESS plugins on Eclipse Indigo

Uninstall the previous version of the CHESS plugins, including the code generation plugins by MDH
Install Eclipse Indigo modeling bundle from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/release/indigo/sr1
Open the menu Help → Install modeling components and install the following plugins:

Acceleo
ATL
MoDisco
Operational QVT
Papyrus
Xtext

Open the menu Help → Install New Software..., select the "Indigo" updatesite and install the following plugins:

Xpand
CDT Visual C++ Support

Install the Medini QVT plugin from the updatesite:
Open the menu item Help → Install new software then paste the url http://www.ikv.de/qvt/update-site-indigo/ , then select all the items in the list and proceed with the installation.
Install the CHESS plugins from the updatesite:
Open the menu item Help → Install new software then paste the url http://www.math.unipd.it/~azovi/CHESS/CHESS_3.1 , then select all the items in the list and proceed with the installation.
Download org.eclipse.papyrus.diagram.activity_0.8.1.v201109161105.jar to your Eclipse/plugins directory, replacing the existing file.
Download org.eclipse.papyrus.profile_0.8.1.v201109161105.jar to your Eclipse/plugins directory, replacing the existing file.
Download the binary distribution of MAST from http://mast.unican.es/#downloading and extract it in the folder "<your Eclipse folder>/mast/windows" or "<your Eclipse folder>/mast/linux" depending on your operating system

How to install the CHESSv3.0 and MARTE Profiles on Eclipse Helios

Install the CHESS and MARTE profiles from the updatesite:
Open the menu item Help → Install new software then paste the url http://www.math.unipd.it/~azovi/CHESS/CHESS_Helios_profiles/ , then select all the items in the list and proceed with the installation.
