This is a legal agreement between you, the end user, and Personal TeX, Inc. The following DVIscope software and documentation is licensed by Personal TeX, Inc. under state law, and the terms below. Please read and agree to the following License Agreement; by using this software, you indicate that you agree to these terms.
Personal TeX, Inc. extends to the user of this Software a nontransferable and nonexclusive license to use the computer program and documentation following this Agreement. You may reproduce and distribute an unlimited number of copies of this Software, provided each copy shall be a true and complete copy, including all copyright and trademark notices, and shall be accompanied by a copy of this Agreement. Copies of this Software may not be distributed as part of a commercial or proprietary product without prior written permission of Personal TeX, Inc.
The license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any other time by destroying the program and documetation together with all copies in any form. It will also terminate if you fail to comply with any term or condition of this Agreement. You agree upon such termination to destroy the program together with all copies in any form.
We have reserved all rights to our copyrighted computer programs and documentation for this program. We have not granted you any right to copy, disseminate, modify or transform these programs or the documentation except as expressly provided for in this license.
Because the program is licensed free of charge, there is no warranty for the program, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The program is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the program is with you. Should the program prove defective, you (and not Personal TeX, Inc. or an authorized reseller) assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction. Some states do not allow exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary form state to state.
Personal TeX, Inc. does not warrant that the functions contained in the program will meet your requirements or that the operation of the program will be uninterrupted or error free.
