The problem
In 1944 the Church of the Eremitani was damaged by an Allied bombing. The frescoes inside were almost completely reduced in thousands of fragments. We are proposing a new Time-Frequency method to represent digital images up to rotations to provide a matching of the fragments digital images on the fresco ones.
