Curriculum

I graduated in 1974 at the University of Padova, with a dissertation about ordered groups and rings.
After graduating I was interested in uniform spaces, in particular about spaces with a basis for the uniformity which is totally ordered, and about some topics regarding the hyperspaces.
Then the field which took my interest was fuzzy topology and in collaboration with G. Artico I have investigated several topics related to fuzzy proximity and fuzzy uniformity spaces.
At present, I am working on selections in non-archimedean spaces and in scattered spaces; moreover I continue the study about fuzzy topology.

In 1978 I became assistant professor of Mathematical Analysis at the Faculty of Engineering of Padova University.
Since 1983, I am associated professor of Geometry in the same Faculty.
