A COMPREHENSIVE INTRODUCTION TO SUB-RIEMANNIAN GEOMETRY

The lecture notes previously posted on this page have been published as a monograph in the Cambridge Studies in Advanced Mathematics for Cambridge University Press with the title A Comprehensive Introduction to sub-Riemannian geometry (with A. Agrachev and U. Boscain)

This book presents material taught by the authors in graduated courses at Trieste (SISSA), Paris (Institut Henri Poincare, Orsay, Paris Diderot), and several summer schools, in the period 2008--2018. It contains material for an introductory course in sub-Remannan geometry at master or PhD level, as well as material for a more advanced course.
