INTERESTS
In the field of strictly hyperbolic systems of conservation laws, my
topics are

Well-posedness
and continuous dependence for the Cauchy problem and initial boundary
value problem. In particular, I studied the uniqueness and continuous
dependence
on the initial data for systems of conservation laws neither genuinely
nonlinear nor linearly degenerate in the sense of Lax. Such systems arise
in studying elastodynamic and rigid heat conductors at low temperature.

Control theory
for conservation laws. The state variable is the solution either of a system
of balance laws or of a single conservation law. The control acts either
on the source of the balance laws or on the boundary value. In particular,
I am interested in studying necessary conditions for optimality and the
characterization and topological properties of the attainable sets.
Recently I began to study phase-filed
problems, with particular regard to Penrose-Fife type systems.
