Arrivals take place on Sunday September 15, 2024,
and the departure on Friday September 20, 2024 (after lunch).
We recommend that you arrive between 5pm and 10pm when someone is on-site
(at reception or in the restaurant) to welcome you and check you by giving your bedroom key.
It is possible to spend also the night from Friday September 20 to Saturday September 21, at participant own expenses:
You will find a safe in all bedrooms at CIRM and lockers in the library next to the computer room. We recommend that you use these facilities which are free, as thefts have unfortunately occured in the past. For additional information, see HERE. LODGING WITH GUESTS If you wish to come with your family or with a companion, not participating to the meeting, please ask the organizers for permission since the double rooms are limted. After obtaining the positive answer of the organizers, please indicate this request in the "Notes and requests" field (Step 3), when booking the stay (see the REGISTRATION page). The rates are:
HOW TO PAY The local expenses have to be paid directly at CIRM from Monday to Wednesday (9:30am to 5:30pm). Credit cards (except American Express), cash and French cheques are accepted. For payment of stays, additional nights, meals, wine etc., contact the Budget Office (room located in the Bastide building next to the Reception desk). An invoice will be provided to you on request. Please note that you will never be asked to pay by credit card in advance of your stay, by phone or online. BREAKFAST AND MEALS The restaurant is situated in the Bastide building. On Thursday, the traditional "Bouillabaisse" meal is served, The Restaurant can offer vegetarian options or can cater for any food intolerance, as long as this information is relayed in advance in the "Notes and requests" field (Step 3), when booking the stay (see the REGISTRATION page). Please specify any special food requirement (no fish, no pork, allergies, etc.) in the "Remarks" section. Wine can be bought at the Restaurant. Breakfast is from 7am to 9am and it is self-service. Lunch is at 12:30am and dinner at 7:30pm. Please be on time for meals, as you are served directly at your table with other participants. For additional information, see HERE. BAR A vending machine provides savoury and sweet snacks as well as some other types of drinks. CIRM’s library owns one of the richest collections of mathematics books in France. With over 35,000 books and series and 1,500 paper or electronic journals, all areas of pure and applied mathematics are represented. The library is open 24 hours a day for our resident guests. It offers quiet and comfortable working areas and a meeting room for small groups. Additional informations can be found at CIRM Library. The IT infrastructure at CIRM covers 7 remote buildings. You may connect to Wifi by using your Eduroam acces key. You may also ask for a personal access key at your arrival. A multi-purpose machine is available to conference participants and is situated in the library on the ground floor. This is the default printer for all free-access computers in the library. To print from your laptop, please ask the IT officers on the 1st floor of the library. There are no charge for photocopies but remember to ask the organizers for the weekly code.
