“A friendly exploration of the (relative) regular Riemann-Hilbert correspondence”

Abstract
The aim of this talk is to explore together the regular Riemann-Hilbert correspondence using a common geometric and algebraic language without specific prerequisites in algebraic analysis. We will start from Hilbert’s 21st problem (1900), move through the regular Riemann-Hilbert correspondence (1984), and conclude with the more advanced relative regular Riemann-Hilbert correspondence which is a joint work by L.Fiorot, T. Monteiro Fernandes, and C. Sabbah (2023), recently awarded the FSA in mathematics.
