“Integral torsion points on abelian varieties over function fields”

Abstract
A conjecture due to Su-Ion Ih states that (under a certain natural necessary condition) integral torsion points on an abelian variety over a number field are not Zariski dense. Ih’s conjecture has been proven in the case of elliptic curves by Baker, Ih and Rumely in 2008. The aim of this talk is to discuss a function field analogue of Ih’s conjecture.
