Selection announcement for n. 1 doctoral researcher to work on the “SecReSy4You” MSCA Doctoral Network project
Deadline: midnight on April 27, 2026
The University of Padova – Department of Mathematics “Tullio Levi-Civita” is looking for n. 1 doctoral researcher to work on the “SecReSy4You” MSCA Doctoral Network project.
SecReSy4You aims to train a new generation of 10 researchers in cybersecurity and resilience for cyber-physical systems (CPS). Critical infrastructures and CPS face increasing risks from cyberattacks exploiting vulnerabilities in digital communication networks, embedded hardware, and software. These attacks have far-reaching consequences, including the potential to collect sensitive information, cause physical damage, and endanger human lives. The network brings together leading research institutions and companies from 8 European countries.
The research will focus on developing contextual-based intrusion and anomaly detection algorithms to cope with the presence of insider attackers in collaborative perception tasks. The project aims to test the resiliency of these solutions against stealthy sensor-based attacks aiming at deviating a system’s perception, such as bird’s eye view sensing in autonomous transportation systems.
Responsibilities and duties: the candidate will participate in a comprehensive training program, including joint scientific research trainings, transferable skills workshops, and international conferences.
