“Diffusion models in Biodesign”

Martedì 9 Aprile 2024, ore 10:30 - Aula 2AB40 - Pietro Liò (Department of Computer Science, Cambridge Center of AI and Medicine)

Abstract

In this talk I will discuss recent work on biodesign (drugs, proteins, materials) using diffusion models for the direct and inverse problem. I will highlight probabilistic approaches in sampling, validation opportunities, mathematical challenges. I will conclude by discussing diffusion models for images.
