“Security Threats and Authentication for IoV: A Brief Overview”
Venerdì 8 Aprile 2022, ore 9:00 - Aula 2BC30 - Salah Eddine Merzougui
Abstract
The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) allows vehicles on the road to form a self-organized network. It offers multiple advantages, such as an integrated warning system allowing drivers to quickly react in the event of an accident thanks to the traffic information provided. Heterogeneous information can potentially be shared between vehicles and improve the safety and accuracy of autopilot vehicles; however, in the absence of effective security and privacy measures, an adversary can easily collect data transmitted, which can contain the private data of drivers and that can be used in a malicious way. In this seminar we offer a brief overview on recent works related to this subject.
