“Regularity, existence and multiplicity results for the fractional p-Laplacian”

Abstract
We will review some old and new results on nonlinear Dirichlet problems driven by the fractional p-Laplacian, from the first existence results based on spectral properties and Morse theory to more detailed existence multiplicity results for constant sign and nodal solutions. A key tool in this framework is a Sobolev versus Hlder minimizer principle, which in turn is based on ad hoc boundary regularity results.
The talk is based on several papers in collaboration with S. Frassu, S. Liu, S. Mosconi, K. Perera, and M. Squassina.
