“On the isomorphism problem for procountable groups and oligomorphic groups”

Abstract
We will present work from a cluster of papers on the Borel complexity of topological isomorphism for procountable groups and of oligomorphic groups. In particular, we will present the recent result, obtained jointly with Su Gao and André Nies, that topological isomorphism on 2-nilpotent procountable groups is not classifiable by countable structures.
