“Topologically defined classes of Prüfer domains”

Abstract
Let $K$ be a field and let $\Delta$ be a collection of valuation domains of $K$. The aim of this talk is to study when $\bigcap_{V \in \Delta} V$ is a Prüfer domain, in terms of topological properties of $\Delta$. The structure of the space of the valuation domains of $K$ as a spectral space will play a central role in the investigation.
